I spent time out on the river in a kayak today. I was moving, so I guess it counts as exercise. Not really a heart-pumping workout though, but I was sweating, and I can tell my upper body will be sore tomorrow. That qualifies as strength training, right?

Feels good to run again. It’s been a really really long time. Didn’t do any particular program, just wanted to see what I was currently capable of. Will start an actual program on Monday, July 28. May shave a few of the first weeks off the program, based on my performance today. I’ll try and repeat this on Saturday and see if it is just as easy, or if this is a fluke.
